Commercial Work



Lifestyle


While I don’t shoot commercially much anymore, I had an opportunity to photograph a college design department communications campaign. The models were students in the program; the images were processed into life-size prints and hung around the college.






Fashion


My career as a commercial photographer began with an ad campaign for Get Used jeans. It appeared in Vogue, Elle, Madamoiselle, Vanity Fair and Seventeen Magazines.

My signature color photography work is characterized by warm, magic-hour light I used to photograph beauty and cosmetic accounts.


I photographed a lot of beauty and fashion for editorial and catalog companies. I photographed campaigns for the Kinney Shoe Corporation. Norma Kamali’s evening collection.



Still Life


Life got a lot easier when I started shooting still life. I started with my Alpina and got a Sinar; I practiced with artsy images and eventaully shot ads and catalogs.


While B-2-B campaigns allowed for multiple-exposure image experimentation. I also photographed editorial: for Fit Pregnancy and other small magazines..... I specialized in luxury goods, photographing campaigns and department store advertisements. In-camera multiple-exposure work had a different allure than computer work; I shot the above for Carrillon Importers.
